Why Is It So Hard to End a Relationship With a Narcissist?
I came across this great article a couple of weeks ago by Mariette Jansen, Ph.D. It’s worth the read. Having been in a longterm relationship with a narcissist/addict for over 10 years, this article really spoke well to what I went through. If you or someone you know and love is in this kind of an abusive relationship, whether a woman or man, heterosexual or LGBTQI relationship, please have them contact someone for help. In nanaimo, there are several agencies that work in this field like Haven Society (for women and children) or The Men’s Centre.
Another great book to read, the one that saved my life, literally, is Codependent No More, by Melodie Beattie
